COOLED TRANSPORTED SEMEN CONTRACT

1) I hereby agree to breed to the above mentioned mare using cooled semen to the stallion _____________________________________ during the _____________ breeding season at a stud fee of _________________. This fee must be paid in full before cooled semen is shipped.
2) If the above named stallion dies or becomes unfit for service within two years of this contract, this contract shall become null and void. The mare owner will be refunded the stud fee only by the stallion owner. All other expenses incurred are still payable to RAFTER P QH RANCH.
3) There is a live foal guarantee with one return breeding privilege the following season if the mare does not produce a live foal that is capable of standing and nursing. Any claim for a rebreed must be accompanied by a veterenarian statement within one week of foals death.
4) Every effort will be made to ship quality semen, however, if for any reason the semen is of poor quality upon arrival, the stallion owner or their representatives will not be held liable. Semen shipments will be from February 1st to June 30th.
5) Both parties agree to follow Breed Association rules regarding shipment of cooled semen.
6) A “Breeders Certificate” will be issued upon notification of the birth of the foal.
7) Current copy of mares registration papers (front &Back) must be included with this contract.
8) A credit card number is required for postage.
9) There will be a charge of $250 for cool-semen shipping. This does not include overnight postage or a disposable container. This must be paid in full before shipping. A credit card is acceptable. 5% service charge on the use of credit cards.
10) Mare owners must contact RAFTER P QUARTER HORSE RANCH 24 hours prior to shipment.
